Good brunch/ lunch spot in the neighborhood. Food is a step up from the diners in the neighborhood but nothing fancy either. I have been here twice and both times I was satisfied with my meal. The standouts were the tater tots, perfectly greasy and crunchy! They were also very accommodating of our large brunch party which I was pleasantly surprised by!
5 Stars because their staff especially cook are awesome!!!! We went their pretty late like 4:45pm and they still prepped brunch for us while they were closed for brunch long time and had to prep eggs all from scratch! Reallyyy went out of their way- I was craving for brunch that day and they have literally found new regulars by that act of great customer service :) Brunch was good food too- Defo a must try! Tried their eggs/sausage/French toast and loved every bit of it. Ambiance is great too and you don't have to wait in long lines.
great little spot near nyucd that friends of mine come after lab! There are happy hour deals that I need to try next, but I adored the calm atmosphere-- the staff was friendly and I'd come back for sure! The tacos hit the spot and I'll come back for breakfast soon Cheers!
came in here for their happy hour right before our movie. great, mellow music and fair prices for their drinks. suuper wide range of food options. place felt very chill. water was served immediately after being seated.
I recently came here for dinner and had a pleasant experience. It's a very nice restaurant that's unassumingly much bigger than it appears from the outside. They have a great happy hour menu that runs Mon-Friday until 8pm. I got a flight of beer for $10 which is unheard of for New York. There is a lot of food options ranging from salads to burgers to pasta to fish. The portions are normal size and the food is quite average. The service itself is alright, but they are nice which is always good. Prices are pretty reasonable.
Hill and Bay is the perfect before or after dinner, movie, or date night spot. You can't go wrong with Hill because it's easy to get off the six lines, plus it is right across the street from Kips Bay AMC. The staff is friendly and will make you feel right at home. In addition, they have a fantastic happy hour, and they always have a unique drink inspired by a popular movie. The options on the menu are extensive, and there is something for everyone. I enjoyed some wings and sweet potato fries during this experience. I hoped for the beer flight, and I must say, each one was delicious. Hill Bay came highly recommended. I'm happy my bestie recommended this restaurant to me, and now I highly recommend it to you.
